This Privacy Policy explains how Men of Moksha ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our website, take the Chain Assessment, apply to the Circle, or participate in our text-message (SMS) program. Questions? Email crew@menofmoksha.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, email address, mobile phone number, your responses to the Chain Assessment, and what you share in your application and in any text messages you send us.
Information collected automatically: basic, standard web data (such as your browser type and general usage) when you visit the site.

How we use your information

To deliver the Chain Assessment and your personalized results.
To review your application and communicate with you about membership.
To send you program check-ins and support via text message and email, and to respond when you reply.
To run and improve the program.

We do not sell or rent your information. We do not share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Full stop.

SMS / text messaging

If you opt in, you'll receive recurring automated check-in and support text messages from Men of Moksha as part of the program.
Message frequency varies.
Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help, or email crew@menofmoksha.com.
Some replies are generated with the help of automated AI to respond to you in a timely way (see "AI" below).
Mobile information collected for the SMS program is never shared with third parties for marketing.

How we share information (service providers)

We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the program. They process your information only to provide their service to us, not for their own purposes:

Supabase — secure database and backend hosting.
Netlify — website hosting.
Twilio — delivery of text messages.
Anthropic (Claude) — AI used to generate personalized assessment insights and message replies.
Resend — delivery of email.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of a person (see "Safety").

AI

We use AI (provided by Anthropic) to help generate your personalized assessment reflection and to draft timely replies to your text messages, grounded in your profile. AI output is a reflection tool — it is not professional, medical, psychological, or legal advice.

Safety

The program is educational and developmental. It is not therapy, counseling, or medical care, and our messages — including AI-assisted ones — are not a substitute for professional help. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact someone you trust or call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, available 24/7 in the U.S.), or call 911 in an emergency. If a message indicates you may be at risk, we may reach out to you personally.

Data retention & security

We keep your information for as long as needed to run the program and as required by law, and we take reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

Your choices

Opt out of texts anytime by replying STOP.
Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email, or by emailing us.
Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing crew@menofmoksha.com.

Children

Men of Moksha is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do.
